Adriana Johanna Haanen was a Dutch painter. She was tutored in the arts by her father, just like her brothers and sister and is best known for her still-lifes with flowers and fruits. Adriana became a honorary member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam in 1845 and became a member of Arti et Amicitiae in 1855. She was featured at multiple large exposition, such as the 'Living Masters', the Exposition Générale des Beaux Arts in Bruxelles and at the World Exhibition in the United States in 1876. Adriana moved to Oosterbeek with Maria Vos in the 1860s, where she stayed for the rest of her life.
