Between 1793 and 1794 “Maison Lépine” was taken over by his son-in-law Claude-Pierre Raguet. When he died in 1810, his son Alexandre Raguet-Lépine continued with the firm. Jean-Antoine Lépine remained active until his death in 1814. The company was bought by Jean Paul Chapuy in 1815. After it was sold to Deschamps in 1827, the business was taken over by Fabre (Favre) in 1832. While several acquisitions followed, the name Lépine was always used in production.
